It's not a money problem - it's a direction problem

I just finished teaching the Law of Direction inside Until You Shine with Quantum Freedom, and I had one of those realizations that gently rearranges everything.

You know the teaching: You cannot serve two masters. You cannot serve God and mammon.

For years I read that as a lesson about greed. Follow God, don't be greedy, money bad. Got it, moving on.

But this time, something softer and deeper landed.

The Quantum Truth That Changes Everything

It was never about money or no money. It is about the direction of authority.

When you serve God, you command money. When you serve money — well, money bosses you around like a tiny dictator with your credit card debt.

And I had to be honest with myself when I sat with that.

How many times has money made my decisions for me? How often did a price tag get the final vote instead of divine guidance? How many times did I look at the number first — and let the number tell me what was and was not possible?

And then I remembered the other moments. The times I followed the Spirit when the numbers made absolutely no sense. And watched money quietly show up afterward, like it had been patiently waiting for me to lead.

Money was never meant to be your master. It was meant to follow your obedience.

The Pattern Underneath the Pattern

What I have come to understand — and what we explored gently together in our session — is that the habit of letting money dictate our destiny is rarely just personal. It runs deep. Generationally deep. Culturally deep.

We inherited it. The belief that we cannot move until the money moves first. That provision must precede the yes. That faith is for Sunday and the spreadsheet runs the rest of the week.

But that is the program of someone who serves money. And the Law of Direction invites us into something entirely different: decide by divine guidance, and watch provision arrive to support the step.

Not after you figure out the finances. Not once the numbers make sense. After the Spirit says go.

You do not have to have a dramatic answer. Even noticing one moment — one decision that belonged to the spreadsheet instead of the Spirit — is the beginning of the shift.

The direction of authority changes everything. And it changes one decision at a time.

Hand on heart. One slow breath. Repeat with me:

I serve God, and God alone directs my life. Money follows the direction the Spirit sets through me. I make my decisions by divine guidance, and provision quietly arrives to support every step I take in faith. I am mE.
