When Reacting Feels Easier Than Creating
It has never been easier to be reactive.
The world is loud.
The news is constant.
Opinions are sharp, urgent, and demanding a response.
Reactivity can feel almost righteous now — like proof that we care, that we are awake, that we are paying attention.
And yet…
Reacting is still not creating.
On the other end of the spectrum is drifting.
The quiet numbness of not wanting much of anything.
Going through the motions.
Living on autopilot.
Waiting for something to happen instead of asking what is being asked of us.
They look different — but spiritually, they lead to the same place.
Both drifting and reactivity quietly rob us of our sacred role as co-creators with God.
Drifting says, “Nothing matters enough for me to engage.”
Reactivity says, “Everything matters so much that I must respond immediately.”
Neither pauses long enough to listen.
Returning to Conscious Creation
If you find yourself drifting — disconnected, uninspired, unsure what you want — begin gently.
Begin with gratitude.
Gratitude brings us back into the present moment, where Divine guidance can be heard again. From that grounded place, ask simply:
“God, what would You have me create that serves humanity through me?”
And if you find yourself reacting — angry, overwhelmed, hopeless, or exhausted by the weight of the world — pause and ask a different question:
“God, how would You have me use this energy to create instead?”
Anger carries power.
Passion carries fuel.
Even grief carries wisdom.
But energy meant for creation becomes destructive when it has no direction.
Creation requires stillness.
Co-creation requires humility.
Both require trust.
Why You’re Really Here
You were not created to numb out.
You were not created to burn out.
You were created to bring something into the world that did not exist before —
through LOVE,
with LOVE,
and for LOVE.
This is the difference between reacting to life and creating with God.
Quantum Shift
Place your hand on your heart and affirm:
“I step out of drifting and reactivity.
I choose conscious creation.
I listen for Divine guidance and act in alignment with it.
I am a co-creator with God.
I am mE.”
Action Step
Today, notice one place where you feel either numb or reactive.
Pause.
Breathe.
Ask the question that invites creation instead of reaction.
Then take one small, aligned step.
It’s your turn.
Surrender to LOVE,
Vica
