I said the W word with all four dogs in the room. The cosmos works exactly the same way.

How come you are so blessed?

This week's lesson found me before I even got my shoes on.

I leaned over to Randy and mentioned I was going to go for a walk. In my mind, it was going to be a quiet solo stroll — just me and my audiobook, some morning air, some stillness.

My mistake? I said the W word. With all four dogs in the room.

Roo immediately lit up and rallied Gracie, and the two girls started kissing and pawing me, lobbying with everything they had to get harnessed for their favorite activity of the day. Within seconds the other two had joined the campaign.

They won. We are, admittedly, weak-willed dog parents — and all four got a long, joyful, tail-wagging walk.

My intention had not accounted for my audience.

You Never Speak Into an Empty Room

Here is the quantum truth that walked right in with them.

Very much like my eager pups, every cell in your body is listening to every word you speak about it — and every atom of the cosmos is resonating with your expressed intention.

You never speak into an empty room. The moment a word leaves your lips, trillions of faithful little listeners leap up, tails wagging, ready to harness up for whatever you just declared.

Say I'm exhausted — and your cells dutifully fetch the leash for exhaustion. Say nothing ever works out for me — and the cosmos, ever obedient to your broadcast, begins arranging exactly the walk you just announced.

Your words are not commentary. They are instructions.

The question is never whether your audience is listening. It always is. The question is — where are your words inviting it to go?

This Week's Fun Challenge

I would love for you to play with me this week.

Every day — out loud, throughout your day — ask yourself one question:

"How come I am so blessed?"

Not am I blessed? — that leaves room for debate. How come I am so blessed? is a question that already assumes the blessing and simply sends every cell, every atom, every faithful little listener searching for the evidence.

And what we send our listeners to find, they always bring back.

Try it. And then watch what shows up by Friday. I mean it — genuinely watch. The miracles that arrive in response to this question have a particular quality: they feel less like luck and more like the universe leaning in to prove you right.

Please hit reply and share what comes. Your miracles are my favorite mail.

A Gentle Reflection

This week, before you reach for a single strategy or solution, notice the words running underneath your day.

Not the dramatic declarations — the quiet, habitual ones. The of course this happened to me. The I could never afford that. The I'm just so tired lately. Each one is a word whispered to trillions of faithful listeners who immediately begin arranging the walk you just described.

You get to redirect the walk anytime. One word at a time. Starting now.

How come I am so blessed?

Ask it in the morning. Ask it in traffic. Ask it when something goes sideways and you want to ask something far less generous. Let the question do its quiet, powerful work — and stay curious about what it brings to your door.

Quantum Shift

Hand on heart. One slow breath in. Repeat with me:

Every cell of my body listens to my words, and every atom of the cosmos resonates with them — so I speak blessing, gratitude, and life. How come I am so blessed? Because LOVE walks with me everywhere I go. I am mE.

It's your turn.
