There are moments in life that gently — and sometimes suddenly — bring us back to what truly matters.

Last week was one of those moments.

Our family experienced a deep emotional shift with the passing of my brother-in-law, Bob Bruce. With loss comes a tenderness… a quiet awareness of how precious life truly is, and how quickly it moves.

And then, just hours later, I found myself speaking on stage.

What I had prepared to say… was not what was delivered.

It flowed.
It moved through me.

And in that moment, there was only one place to anchor:

God — our one true source of comfort and infinite thriving.

Not away from emotion — but through it.

In the midst of this contrast, I was also surrounded by soul family — and connected with new souls in a way that felt deeply aligned.

And within all of it, one truth became even clearer:

Life is short.

And each of us carries something within us that is not meant to stay hidden.

A message.
A light.
A way of serving that only we can bring forward.
