Growth without the burnout - is it possible?
I am writing to you from seat 3F, somewhere between Houston and Mexico, with a sizable chocolate bar and a very big heart.
Where am I going? Cabo.
My dear friend Kohila Sivas — our brand-new Global Woman Club Regional Director for Mexico — is launching her chapter, and I get to be in the room when it happens. A new chapter. Literally. Nothing is random. Everything is divine.
Two Waters, One Place
Cabo sits at Land's End, where the wild Pacific Ocean meets the calm Sea of Cortez.
Two waters. One place. One of them crashes and roars. The other rests and glows. And they are not fighting each other. They simply — meet.
Most of us were taught that business is only the Pacific. Push harder. Wake up earlier. Answer one more email at 11pm. I see you. I have been you. And then we wonder why the waves keep knocking us over.
The Quantum Truth About Burnout
Here is what I have come to know:
Burnout is not from too much work. It is from working as m instead of E.
When the m runs the business — the mortal, grasping, scared self — everything feels heavy. Because everything depends on us. When we surrender to the E, the Eternal, to LOVE, the same work flows through us instead of from us.
Remember Jesus asleep in the boat while the storm raged on the Sea of Galilee? The disciples were bailing water. He was resting. The storm was the same for everyone. The source was different.
The ego pushes. The Spirit invites.
And I want to be honest with you — I teach this, and I still catch myself rowing with both arms while God is holding the oars. I laugh at myself now, with a lot of love, and I hand the oars back. Growing in peace is a skill. And you get to learn it.
Something I Have Never Shared Anywhere Before
One week from today — October 9th at 9:30AM EST — our Metro DC Global Woman Club gathers for a very special event: How to Grow Your Business Without Burning Out.
And this time, we are fully online. That means you can join from anywhere. Your kitchen. Your car. Your beach chair in Cabo. I will not judge — I may be in one.
I will be interviewing my own business coach, Allison Oster, asking the questions I know you are already carrying. And then I will be sharing tips I have never shared anywhere before. Not on Instagram. Not in my books. Not in my programs.
One of them changed the way I plan my entire week — and I have been keeping it close to my heart, waiting for the right room. This is that room.
Get your early bird ticket HERE. Registration closes the day before — please do not wait until the last wave.
And bring a friend who is tired of rowing alone. We will make space for them too.
A Gentle Reflection
This week, notice honestly:
Where am I working from m — pushing, forcing, rowing with both arms — and where might I be willing to hand the oars back?
You do not have to overhaul everything. One oar at a time is enough. Notice where the effort feels like survival instead of flow. That is where the invitation lives.
The Pacific and the Sea of Cortez do not argue over which way to go. They simply meet — and the meeting itself becomes something extraordinary.
You can grow like that too.
Quantum Shift
Hand on heart. One slow breath in. Repeat with me:
I grow in rhythm with LOVE. My work flows through me with ease, and my rest is part of my success. I receive without forcing, I create from overflow, and my business and my peace meet like two waters in one sacred place. I am held. I am guided. I am free. I am mE.
It's your turn.
Surrender to LOVE, Vica
